About Patricia Caroline Carlson

Tucker's father is Richard Warner Carlson, famously known as Dick Carlson. He is a former journalist who worked as the director for Voice of America. In addition, Richard is a former CEO for The Corporation of Public Broadcasting and directed the USIA Documentary Film Service. Tucker's parents were together between 1967 and 1976 when they divorced. The authorities granted Dick Carlson custody of Tucker and his brother, Buckley Carlson. In 1979, Dick married Patricia Caroline Swanson, who legally adopted Dick's children. Patricia is famously known as the heiress of the Swanson Food company.
The family-owned multi-million business became known for giving America the TV dinner. Patricia's grandfather, Carl Swanson, founded the enterprise in 1899, and it was known as C. A Swanson and Sons.
By the early 1920s, the business had grown to become one of the successful food processors dealing with eggs and butter. By the time he died in 1949, Swanson frozen foods' net worth was an estimated $60 million. Carl raised his sons Gilbert C. and W. Clarke in strict apprenticeship and adherence to the family business values. The two brothers led the business to make significant strides in the industry and invented the name TV Dinner. Swanson Foods family tree Swanson Foods family tree comprises the two brothers, their wives, and their families. Gilbert married Roberta Fulbright, the sister of former United States Senator J. William Fulbright. They had three children: Gilbert Swanson Jr, Jay F Swanson, Patricia Caroline, and Helen Carla Swanson. Unfortunately, Patricia's brother, Gilbert Jr, committed suicide in 1975.
In 1955, Gilbert and Clarke sold C.A. Swanson and Sons to the Campbell Soup Company for an enormous part of Campbell's stock. They savoured all connection to the TV Dinners, though the name Swanson remained on the label.
Clarke passed away in 1961, and his children took up different careers. Seven years later, his brother Gilbert also died of cancer. His wife, Roberta, had died in 1959 following unspecified natural causes. At the time of her death, Patricia's mother was 48 years old.
The family business name changed later to Swanson Enterprises, a holding company dealing with stock, real estate, family trusts, and smaller companies worth millions. The duo also had investments with Coca-Cola and Yellow Freight Systems. In addition, the brothers continued to hold high positions in charitable organizations in Omaha, where their father started the business.
Sources believe that Patricia and her siblings, Gilbert Jr., Jay, and Carla, inherited part of the family wealth after the death of their father. However, because the family was patriarchal, the male side of the family reportedly controlled the money and even had access to a trust fund dedicated to Patricia, who had only received allowances from the fund.
Unknown to many, the Patrica fund had been opened by her father when she got married to her first husband. The fund was intended to protect her financial assets should the marriage not work out. Tucker's wife went to a federal court to obtain a settlement whose terms have remained undisclosed. As a result, Patricia's current net worth remains unclear. Her business pursuits have also remained a mystery, although she once worked as a librarian for Clarkton Library. However, she likely enjoys her husband's fortune, which he has amassed from his work in the media.
Tucker's stepmom is alive and well. Richard's wife has opted for a mysterious and hidden lifestyle away from the public limelight. Patricia Swanson has lived a life of strife and tag-of-wat with her siblings over her family's estate. Today, she has no ties to Swanson Foods, and whether she made any fortune through the investment remains a mystery. She has since preferred to live life behind the scenes.
